The beauty of places like this is that it provides employment for local women. Support them by buying gorgeous paper products to take home. Packs flat in your backpack as well!! You can be taken around the paper making places and its fascinating to see everything being made by hand. They will even let you have a go!! So come here for your cards, business cards, books, writing paper etc and support the local women.

A great business that helps support locals by giving them jobs at fair wages.  I bought a few lovely handmade paper stars that I have hanging in my office and they make me smile whenever I look at them.

This places is amazing with a lot of tribes working in a sustainable manner. It hosts Radio Bundelkhand 90.4 where the communities comes together to form and disseminate their own content.

An easy tuk tuk ride from Orchha, this is a cottage industry of handmade paper products, mostly to provide employment for women.
