The Mon District in Nagaland is famous for the Konyak tribes which were earlier head hunters too, though now they only hunt animals in the forest. It so happens sometimes that innocent hunters get hunted by other hunters especially since the hunters are more than the hunted animals in the forest. I was fortunate to stay in a village chief's home in Wakching village in the Mon district and had a great time with the Konyaks.
