I merletti dell'Hawa Mahal incantano il passante anche per il mistero che celano dietro quelle finestre istoriate. Volti di donna celati da stoffe preziose come gioielli si muovono dietro di esse, nella penombra del pomeriggio assolato di Jaipur. Luogo magico e misterioso, da non perdere insieme all'Osservatorio.

Awesome, royal and Regal....these are a few words for Jaipur. Steeped in history of Rajput kings and their valor and beautiful palaces and forts they built. Picture here shows 'Hawa Mahal'. Its also called Pink City for buildings in pink color. Nice, vibrant and charming city in the state of Rajasthan.

Le plus beau monument que j'aie vu. Il paraît que quand il y a du vent, on peut l'entendre souffler à travers le monument comme l'air dans les orgues. La partie qui donne sur la rue (photo) est faite de petites niches qui permettaient aux femmes de regarder dans la rue sans être vues.
