Pushkar is good to visit, but we stayed a little longer than I would have liked.  It has a very hippy backpacker flare which for some means they want to hang out here for weeks.  For me, I would rather see the smaller villages.

Wonderful little town built around a holy lake. A must if you are visiting India! There are a lot of hotels with view to the lake, try to get into one of those, the night view is phantastic.
