They say that a lotus flower fell from Heaven and Pushkar rose to the surface. Dont offer your hand to anyone, it is a scam to stamp you with Henna, and remember they will charge you per blessing at the lake - blessing for Mum AND Dad will cost you double!!

A typical old city of Rajasthan, with holy places, bazaar and temple. Anyone who goes in Rajasthan has to go in Pushkar.

this tiny and seemingly filthy lake somehow manage to emit an otherworldly beauty. very nice sunsets.
