First started by Maharana Udai Singh, the City Palace of Udaipur is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan built over different time periods.  The palace features a combination of medieval, European and Chinese architecture., and contain many antiques, paintings, decorative furniture and more.  It is one of the most popular travel destinations.

Le gigantesque City Palace qui surplombe le lac est le plus vatse complexe palatial du Radhjastan. Cf Lonely Planet 2000 et mes souvenirs...

Interesting place, although it becomes a bit of an information overload if you've visited a few others before aswell
