seems like a monument but it's a real hotel, no,more than a hotel it's like being in a real palace of a maharaja(which happens to be in the middle of a lake) a few centuries ago.At your arrival at the palace you are covered with a shower of petals and greeted by a typical indian flute player. great atmosphere

When you dream of India, you dream of a place like this... A white palace that floats in the lake, so oniric, that it was the set for James Bond in the movie Octopus.

Can't miss it, it is in the middle of the lake, have to catch a boat out there, if you are wealthy enough you can stay there..... otherwise lunch is also an option...

Peaceful city in Rajasthan, a welcome break from the chaos of much of the rest of northern India. Very beautiful and lots of good places to eat and stay!

In a desertic Rajasthan, a real palace can't be anywhere else but in a Lake !
