We accidentally ended up here when our taxi driver 'needed a place to park'. At first we were incredulous, but the store does have some very lovely souvenirs (just what we were looking for, although we hadn't yet realized...). We were offered kashmiri tea and the salesmen there were very informative and, yes, very persuasive. If you want quality souvenirs from Bangalore, check out Jamal Mir...
