Dec 3, 2009 Palolem Beach is one of the lovely beaches in South Goa. It is where I went for my honeymoon too!!! It has a lot of nice beach shacks and good sea food at restaurants on the beach front serving fresh catch from the sea every evening. There are boat trips to the nearby Butterfly Island where a famous Bollywood movie was shot besides sighting dolphins too. Walking on the beach and through some of the shallow water puddles towards some of the other parts of the beach separated by the sea during low tide is worth it. Even though I am not much of a beach person, I loved this place a lot and would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants a lot of sun and sand and peace and quiet atmosphere. You can just sit under the stars at night or walk under the starlit sky without fear of being mugged. Apr 25, 2009 Beaches in India are nice but not all they are made out to be, in my opinion (being an Australian from Queensland). The sun is warm and so is the sand which are the positives. If you are after a deserted and quiet beach experience, this is certainly not the place. This place is full of restaurants and is a great place to party. If you want to sunbake and relax you would be better to go to a different part of Goa. Jun 22, 2011 Palolem Beach is one of the beautiful beach in Goa.Many tourist visit every year at here. The silver sand and palm trees are the most attractive point in this place. Palolem Beach is one the most familiar beach spot located in South Goa. http://www.traveladda.com/west_india/goa/beaches/palolem_beach.html Jul 10, 2008 the best place ever to stay!!! not so crowded , many young people and the longest beach with PALMS!!!( if you remember scene from Bourne Supremacy, when Matt Damon is resident there for a while ... you must fall in love with this beach:) Related Links
