On the Sungai (river) you can make a daytrip with a klotok (boat) from any of the bridges in the center of Banjarmasin to the see the life at and in the river. Children are swimming in the brown water, someone is taking a shower, a woman is washing cloths and another use the river as toilet and rubbish depostit. The people in Banjarmasin are always friendly and the fish is always a good dish with spices and rice...
