Everytime I go to Bali, I feel like I have returned home :-)

I have told myself, if I ever go back to Bali, I am going only with backpack cause I plan to by there another bag and everything I need. My point is, clothes are very cheap, in general you can afford everything. Tourist always have to pay more but everywhere is like that. Bali is a nice place to relax, nature is wonderful. Do not miss Bali food! It is a heaven for surfers - big waves and no sharks! Bargain if you sure you want buy something and be persistent, first price is always 2-3 times bigger than it should be, but it is also a culture of bargaining that you have to follow. Sometimes it can be fun.
People are very nice and friendly. Go to Nusa Dua hotels for relaxing and quite vacation, and to Kuta if you want to have fun and go out.

Nusa dua has great hotels with spa's and very good restaurants almost like you were living in a dream. But this is not Bali these are not the people. Rent a car with a driver or like me a scooter and go into the country were you meet real people. Did you knew that the Balinese can't get into Nusa Dua just to work into the hotels. I had a great time driving for 2 weeks with my scooter ...

The hustkle and bustle of Bali is evident here in Denpasar - a stone's throw from Kuta you are certainly in the thick of things. You will find clubs, restaurants, water parks, sling shots.... if you prefer somewhere a little more quiet but still within travelling distance - try the east side of Bali - If you have money to burn, why not try a 5 star hotel in Nusa Dua
