gunung sinabung is a mountain you can hike in a day. you need about 4 hrs up and 3 hrs back. it is better to do it with a guide, specially in the rainseason are the paths very slippery and dangerous. but its beautiful up there! on a clear day you see danau toba and the highlands around. but the best are the lavastones! you have to see it...
