This place has a really cool and old school bazaar with many stores selling hand crafted souvenirs. When I visited Esfahan this was the first place we stopped at and went back there again within few days. There are several sites to be seen around this square too. You will not be disappointed at all! If you are going to Esfahan, visit this place!

This imposing square is spectacular. You can't imagine how big it is until you're there. The shops are very touristy and probably best avoided, but the mosques, gorgeous blue tile work and lovely fountains are fantastic. A lovely place to just sit, chill and take in the atmosphere.

Just the most beautiful place in the World! Enjoy a tea and a water-pipe with Iranien people and look at the sunset over the Imam Mosque!

Very nice and wide square, especially when good weather, i even slept under one of the big green bush over there:)

THE place in isfahan.. beautiful mosques, bazars.. go there in the evening, great atmospere!
