Jun 4, 2009 Culture shock to the extreme can be experienced here. Drop in from the sky circling down from the clouds wondering why you can't see desert, and realize that Baghdad is an oasis, cut by a winding river. Come in closer and see the strange arrangement of the airport terminal, and pause for a second to face a metal stocked AK and armored guard asking to see your passport. Best part is the ride out through the barricades. Word of advice: if traveling during the winter, wear some boots and pants that won't amplify the color of mud that sticks to your boots in clumps that get so big that they threaten to pull your boots off! Shopping: the PX is the best army navy surplus store on earth. you can even buy extra armor plates to put in your double bag camelbak. Stop by the chow hall and get some good eating, and if you're not satisfied, get a latte at starbucks, just make sure you keep the cover on if a blackhawk comes flying your way. Jun 18, 2010 Hi, I am Charles Wilson. What is your idea about army surplus? You must have same idea what I had in the past. Earlier I used to think that spending money for buying army or military surplus are nothing but wasting money because I thought that these are the old are used item. Besides they might be rough and good for no purpose as I believed. My wrong idea went away when I found other people using it. My friend Jasper also bought an army boot. After watching all this, I felt inclination towards buying these items. Since I am a frequent internet user, I searched for army surplus online for best online shopping stores. At first I had bought assault boots. You may not believe they were really amazing. I got great appreciation for it from my friends. Apart from boots, I have also bought trousers, uniforms, goggles, gloves and many other accessories from http://www.armysurplus365.co.uk/ Related Links
