The Gap of Dunloe is a glacial pass that stretches for 7 miles in the Macgillycuddy's Reeks mountain range near Killarney.  You can travel the Gap on foot or rent a bike, go on horseback or take a jaunting car.  Numerous companies in Killarney offer day tours.

Totally beautiful National Park with every shade of green imaginable. See it by jaunty car!

A trip to Killarney is not complete unless you hike or ride through the Gap of Dunloe.
