A "must" if you go to Ireland. It didn't take us nearly as long to complete it as we thought it would (we were there in February thought) and we even added in the Skellig Loop, and saw some amazing views of the Skellig Islands. We stopped constantly to take pictures of the scenery. We found an old unmarked tower on a beach along the way that we explored and we stopped at Staigue Ring Fort, which was okay but not as impressive as some of the other forts we saw.

Since I was visiting the area without my own transport, hitchhiking actually (works perfectly well in Ireland, they still stop) I couldn't see the whole ring of Kerry and had to limit myself to the things within walking distance of Killarney and Kenmare. Still it is a very nice area, with tons of quiet spots and beautifull views.
