Blackrock is a lovely seaside village on the Dart line on Dublins southside. It has a nice beach, modern bars and restaurants and is well connected to Dublin city, Bray and Greystones by Dublin Bus and Dart. It is within walking distance to Dun Laoighre which hosts art theatres, restaurants etc.

Posh area if you're into the whole rugby school thing. Bit of a kip though. Not much to do other than an old shopping centre and a few expensive pubs

Nice place, away from the big crowds. Place where all the wealthy people go and live so the prices can be a bit steep.
