Sep 18, 2009 Dublin.... What a great city. If it is with a few friends or just you and your partner, this is a great place to wonder, eat, drink and meet people. Everywhere you go everyone is outgoing and ready to party. The staff in all the bars are friendly and the restaurants serve great food. The city has a true uplifting vibe. Even if you don't venture out of the main Temple Bar area it does not matter as there is so much fun in wondering about with the crowds. Even, if you're lucky, find a street musician and sing a few songs with other onlookers. A great time, got to be visited for a long (dirty??) weekend! Sep 24, 2009 Dublin is an interesting city to visit with a lot of fun places to discover but it is so big. Because it is built on a swamp there aren't many high buildings making this a very stretched out city. Traffic is bad and public transport isn't better because all the busses are stuck in the same traffic. So try to visit as much as you can by foot. Compared to most other european capitals this is a very friendly city but I think the west of Ireland is even friendlier and more relaxed. Oct 7, 2009 I liked the city with its relics of her history - Dublin Castle, City Hall, the Post Office, Christ Church and St Patrick's Cathedral... Also, the birthplace of JB Shaw and the James Joyce Centre were interesting. As a Belgian I admire the marketing concept of the Guiness Store House, even though our beer 's lots better ;.) Sep 18, 2009 Out of all of my travels this had to have been one of the most fun cities I visited. The culture as well as the atmosphere throughout the entire city was alive and buzzing no matter what time of day (or night) it was. The Guiness factory as well as the Jameson Distillery are a must if you are to visit.
