Massada is a hill near the Dead Sea. According to the history in the firs war between the jews and the romanians a troop of the jews were fighting from the fort on top of Masada until their situation was completely hopeless and than they commited suicide in order to avoid the slavery. There are some ruins on top of the hill, and great panoramic view. You can climbe up from the bottom, better do it in early morning, take torch with you, and you can enjoy the sunrise from the top. Hard exercise but worth it!
