This ancient Roman city was fantastic. The ruins of the Ancient Port City are fantastic, providing one of the most unique opportunities int he world - to see the surviving remnants of of the greatest port cities int eh Ancient World. The underwater museum would be especially interesting, allowing divers to come up close to the waterproof cement the Roman Engineers used. The well preserved aqueduct and Roman theater are also amazing. The historical importance of the city can not be underestimated. Herod's Palace, the probable location for the trial of the Apostle Paul, is a wonderful complex, as is the view from the acropolis, where the foundations of the church where Eusibius presided can be seen.
