Last year Tel Aviv celebrated 100 years since its begining as a city. This time I will introduce you the "White Route" , not too detailed.Begin your journey at about 9 o'clock from the Gutman fountain situated at 1 Rothschild. Here the first Jewish neighborhood was founded and was called"Neve Tzedek" Not far from there you will see the first kiosk(it is a model, not the original). At number 16 you see the very house where on May 14th 1948 David Ben Gurion declared the founding or Israel. At 29 is the beautifull Lederberg house and not far from there is the Levin house which housed the Soviet embassy those times. This boulevard is very large and most of the time you can walk under the shadow of the old trees in the mid section .Berlin,Milner and Rubinsky houses are just a few of the arhitectural wonders of the 30's.
Get off the blvd.and visit the City Pantheon. Here rest in peace the founders of the city and many more writers and other cultural figures. From here you can walk to the Great Synegogue on 110 Allenby st.Next visit the Palatin hotel, which became already in the late 20's the meeting place of the high society. The trip ends at Shalom Meir tower, built where once stood the Hertzliah Gymnasium.
Hope you enjoyed the "White route"
