Amazing volcano in the middle of the Italy. Back in the Roman days it decided when destiny of the city of Pompeii. Astonishing view of Napoli, Torre del Greco, Sorrento and others cities.

If in Naples you have to make a day trip to walk up Vesuvio. After climbing the volcano you should make the trip to Pompeii to see the aftermath of the volcano's eruption.

Brilliant views of the volcano and an amazing tour around the city that used to surround it, complete with the ash encased bodies of former citizens.

mt vesuvius i wouldnt think would erupt anythime soon great veiws from the top and the huge "muesum" down in pompeii was pretty cool
