The beautiful basilic is a true jewel of the byzantine style, full of mosaics, marmor colums and fresco's. The level is high but you can feel really good inside, you don't feel smashed ! Not so known but really worth !

Absolutely wonderful basilica and the byzantine mosaics are amazing. Ravenna is a terrific little town to visit for architecture buffs

This is probably the most interesting Byzanthine church in western Europe: incredible layout, fantastic mosaics, great atmosphere.
