The only square without a church in the whole of Rome, or so they told me. The statue in the middel of the square is that of a scientist that got burned because of sacriligious talks. After visiting 10 churches a day this square comes as a breath of fresh air. During the week there is a fruit and vegetable market there in the weekend it is a more general market with people selling their own handmade things. The place is very popular among students and therefor it is a good place to look for a cheap bit to eat or a quick coffee.

Oggigiorno Campo de' Fiori è uno dei ritrovi notturni preferiti dai più giovani, sia italiani sia stranieri, grazie alla presenza di molti locali e pub. A causa di episodi di violenza, vandalismo e schiamazzi notturni, la piazza è spesso presidiata dalla polizia durante le ore notturne.

schönes viereck mit cafes, jordano bruno wurde hier vor einigen hundert jahren verbrannt. gut, weil ein wenig abxseits vom hauptstrom der touristen, gut auch, weil relativ ruhig - wenig lärm von motorinos - nicht weit vom pantheon
