This was my favorite place in Rome. So much to see, the bridge is amazing!! The Vatican is very close by as well, so definetly worth the detour to see Sant Angelo. Lots of veiled (potentially true or untrue) history, scandal and gorgeous architecture.

what I like about Rome that everything thats worth seeing can be visited on foot. I spent a whole day once snd guided a friend through the city anfd we could see almost everything. The castle is absolutely worth seeing, and of course if u are a Dan Brown fan then it's a thrill:)

beautiful! right infront of the castle is an amazing bridge over the river with monuments of angels with a great view of both the castle and the church domes of italy! Magnificent views and down the street you will be able to see the courthouse in immense structure

It is one of the most amazing pieces of architecture that I have ever seen. The Ponte d'Angelo is nearby so one pretty much gets more than what they bargained for. Furthermore the Vatican is not too far away. Therefore, it is definitely worth going to!

Its a course of history !Gorgeous has so much to offer if your interested in Roman history and gladiators. Vatican is stones throw away.. Even though I'm not an christian but I can say its beautiful ! The churches are spell bound in architecture
