Rome is THE city we loved its à big city but everything is so near bye each other and THE vatican musean is wonderful with THE Sixtijnse Chapelle you must see it with own eyes even THE basiliek is great,than you have places like THE colosseum is realy historic and THE Trevi fontein great and than we have also THE spanish traps thats à romantic place than you have THE many little restaurants with THE wonderful pasta's also you can use THE metro and THE busses realy easy to use with one word you must visit Rome

Everybody knows about the Sixtine chapel, Michelangelo or Rafael but there is much more to discover, infinitely more. Don't forget that Papacy has been at the top of the western world for almost two millenaries in matters of religion, spirit and art. All the great discoveries were first reported here and it is the cost of building and decorating it that provoked reformation. So the question is : was it worth it ? And the answer springs in your face.

A must see with an audio guide or a good qualified tour guide. I have been twice and both tours pointed out different aspects (except for the main features like the sistine chappel etc..) You will never remember everything you see, now will you have the time to study every piece of art. Make sure you have your shoulders and knees covered as you will not be allowed in at the security checkpoint.

The sistin chapel is beautiful, but is not the best room of the Museum. It is the last part of the way and is always full of people who is trying to take photos, and guards shouting not to... If you want to maximize the experience of this museum you should read something in advanced because there is little help and brochures available. Loved the maps room!

You skipped the line, they know a lot of information, get head sets so you can hear them
I was traveling solo so it was great to have a group and others to hold my camera for me.
little pricey but again NO lines.. i didn't have time to waste waiting in lines
