Seeing the largest brick dome in the world (built by Brunellesci) was pretty cool, but finding out that they didn't know how they'd finish it when they started was also pretty amazing. Brunellesci actually came up with the technology to build the dome during construction.

Its the best place i have ever been. if you go there you should go the top of the duomo. 8€
