Siena is a beautiful city. The piazza in which the palio horse race is held is lined with shops, restaurants, and a beautiful tower. This tower is very old and very high. Even if you are afraid of heights, the view from the top is so mesmerizing that you won't be able to think anything other than how remarkably beautiful Siena and the hills of Tuscany really are. Absolutely breathtaking.

The tower is a bit of a walk (300 steps or so), but the views are outstanding at the top. You can see for long distances over Il Campo and the red bricked streets of Siena.
