Jul 23, 2008 XIII century bridge, built over a Roman aqueduct. At one end of the bridge it is still possible to see water that previously was brought to the city using this bridge. It is accessible from the centen of Spoleto and it connects with the near mountain and nature. This impressed even Goethe that wrote about this bridge!! The only problem is that its beutiful and romantic panorama and altitude attracts too many people to suicide. Maybe you can save some of them going there :) Aug 23, 2011 A 13th-century former aqueduct, this is the tallest stone bridge in Europe featuring a breath-taking view at 82 mt high from the central window. It caught the attention and appraisal by Goethe during his grand tour of Italy and he wrote a few verses full of admiration about it. A must if you stop by in the city.
