They gather a group of gondolas with a singer and musician. Meander through Venice's small canals and finally down the Grand Canal. Sounds hokey. But it was a highlight of our trip. We booked it through Viator.com.

The city is surreal. Water everywhere! If you go in the summer, the water looks so gross around the buildings. I'd bring mosquito repellant just in case. Be careful, you can get easily lost. Lots of twists and turns. Check out the churches and feed the pigeons
