If you're a natural aquarium buff, then Niigata is a must for anyone travelling through Japan. It is home to the father of zen aquascaping Takashi Amano and it is just a short 1,500Y taxi trip from the central hub! Your photo album will thank you for going out of your way to visit one of the world's most beautiful aquarium galleries in the world!
