Accessed by bullet train from Kobe via Osaka. Probably spent 3 hours here. A sobering attraction for all age groups. There were nothing but school tours there and tourists. A testament to the futility of war, and the tragedy of the death of innocents. I also meditated on the two structure still standing, the framework of which survived the atomic blast.
What a memorable place!

This is a fabulous place to visit. It gives a great view and insight into the bombing of Hiroshima and the long term aftermarth. There is also the display of the thousand paper cranes from around the world and the site directly below where the bomb landed.

If you want to see how was it at the time when A-bomb destroyed Hiroshima, this is the right place to go. Museum is shocking. Take few hours to see the pain and suffering of the ones who went through all this. I came out of it shocked!

It illustrates perfect way what happend on those days, and before and after.
I think it was the last time when I visited a place like this, to know again and again how inhuman and cruel the people could be.

Of course it's good coz it's in my hometown!!
U should go if u come to Hiroshima. U can know about Atmic Bomb more! But I can't see dolls in the museum, that's so scarely><
