The shop holds itself between an antiques shop and a gartage sale. The museum is at the back of the shop up the stairs. This tiny museum, just 2 meters by 2 meters is jam packed with different piggy banks all produced in Japan.

It's 2 minutes away from the Bikan area, at the end of the canal in the Bikan area go to your left. The remarkable shop/museum with a few dozen porcelain life size dogs are hard to miss

It's tiny and so funny. The happiest place in the whole of Kurashiki. The shop itself is worth a visit. And the woman holding the shop is very friendly, she wouldn't even let me pay the entrance. Don't know why but I got in there for free.
