Nov 7, 2009 The pagoda in determinate the area with its deep orange colour and 5 storeys (pproximately 28 meters high). Senjokaku is the popular name of Hokoku Shrine. Senjokaku, which literary means "Hall of a thousand mats", actually covers floor space equivalent to 857 tatami mats. It's old, and I like the old wooden buildings, but it's quite empty. Just look around and go up to the hill. :o) Jun 1, 2009 If you got 100 yen to spare you can visit this hall. There are some nice and sometimes funny paintings hanging up there and the view from the hall is also nice. But you can also not pay and just look in from the outside, the pagoda is also free of charge. Related Links
