The Winter Ice Festival features many huge ice sculptures featuring modern Japanese pop culture. There are traditional things carved onto ice as well but the Anime characters and movie stars stand out. Many sculpture have ice slides for kids to slide off of. Best of all, it's free to the public. Believe me when I say those things are huge!
