Kinkaku-ji Temple is a must see if you visit Kyoto! The architecture is stunning with the upper two stories covered with pure golf leaf! If you go in the summer months, just be prepared for the huge number of tourists who all want the same picture in front of the Golden Pavilion that you do!

The silver temple isn't made of silver, because the patches of silver which had to give it its name were never put!
But its architecture is just simple and sophisticated.

Wonderful, quiet place to be and learn more about Japan's culture, so as the shogun in Meiji time.

So beautuful, beyond imagination.
The whole palace is gold cladded (not painted).
A must see in Japan
