Ueno Zoo
About Ueno Zoo
If this is the same Ueno Zoo that is part of the Ueno Park in Tokyo, I'm sorry to report that Liang Liang the Panda died in April 2008. The zoo has no panda to replace her. But there are still many other animals, birds and reptiles to see. The zoo is quite compact and is a place that japanese families take their young children to on their day off.

Oct 24, 2008 Ueno Zoo is located in Tokyo's Ueno Park. The zoo's most famous inhabitant, Ling Ling, the giant male panda died in April 2008. The zoo has no giant pandas to replace him at this time. There is a red panda and many other animals, birds, reptiles to see. The zoo also have a monorail and several concession stands. It is quite compact and is a place that japanese families take their young children to on their days off. Oct 31, 2009 AWESOME! I enjoyed it very much! 1 of the best zoo in the world. I spent there half a day, and it wasn't much. You can see here many very interesting animals: gorilla, sumatran tiger, kakadu, and 'I don't know the name' frogs, birds... now it's home to over 2600 animals from 464 different species. The world is a wonder, and I think the animals is the most fantastic in it. Oct 20, 2008 It is a great place to go if you want to see a real Panda before they go extinct. Related Links
