In a beautiful open space, there is a huge bronze statue of the Buddha that dates back to the 12th Century. He sits there with his eyes closed, deep in meditation and i wonder what are all the things he has seen, over 900 years... From Tokyo, you can take the train to Hase-Kamakura and walk through the little town until you reach it.

a big buddha you can visit from the inside full a japan turists to reach it, go to the north from the west part of the beach, and follow the road sign or the turist flow ...

Very interesting. Good place to go to escape Tokyo for a day. Hopefully you can get up inside when you go.

You feel very small when standing near that bronze statue. Great view.
