So I dont really know the name of it, but its a pretty well known spot, its like two blocks away from the suica asakusa stop (Japanese subway)
Theres a giant red gate with a giant red lantern, through that is possibly the coolest market in tokyo, they sell like everything from really vintage barbies, old toys, to real silk kimonos for like $40-50 dollars which is a really good price, katanas, little souvingers (i apologise i really cant spell) all really cheap
also great street food, really cool place to try crazy sweets and traditional japanese food

is a Japanese Shrine, huge gate (torii) with god of wind and god of thunder. Above your head you can see Japanese lantern (massive) made of paper. After that lots and lots shops, can eat japanese food, and buy souvenirs, of course made in japan...a bit expensive. At the end of this way can find Shrine, have to wash your hand and your soul before enter. japanese stile washing. now you are ready, you can go inside and get fortune paper, fortune slip, by the way, mine was the worst, bad fortune, anyway after get amulet, my bad fortune is gone

Asakusa is an amazing ku of Tokyo, it's like you're still in Edo Period. When you enter, you can see the main street which is crowded with shops and people. You can find whatever you want as miage or just visit. If you go further, you'll see buddhist temples, but that does not really interest me. Go check yourself.

Stop here for a look at historical Tokyo, as it appeared when the city was named Edo.The Sensoji Temple is the main attraction, but the street vendors in the area have some interesting crafts and food for sale. In addition, there are some fine tempura restaurants nearby.

Good market, Senso-ji Temple, Asahi headquarters building, kind of old Tokyo and street sellers... Very attractive place. Get there by TOEI Asakusa underground line.
