Oct 30, 2008 Ginza, a shoppers paradise! What an awesome place, loads of people, great restaurants, and fantastic shopping! Ginza is a stop on many tokyo city tours, and well worth getting off to have a look around. From the 5th Avenue shops to massive department stores, as well as the latest sony gadgets and electric toilet seats, there is something for everyone here. With the super polite Japanese it is an easy place for English speakers to get around, and the impeccably clean streets are easy to navigate through This suburb is a must if you want to experience all thing Japanese, from sushi to noodles as well as the occasional geisha spotting. Nov 16, 2009 I bought 2 am/fm radios the size of credit cards when I visited 4 years ago. I still havent seen them hit the US market..... This place has the most fantastic sushi and other finger food in the basement of each large department store. It is 1/4 the cost of what you would find at a restauaunt. Its Japanese takeout!!! Jul 9, 2008 Shopping in Japan is awesome! And this neighborhood is especially fun - the shops in this district are almost falling over on one another there are so many of them! Try buying stuff you'd neve be able to get back home - like super-weird manga publications or sumo paraphernalia.
