Feb 14, 2009 One of the biggest cities in the world and home to Shibuya, one of my favorite places. Their Ramen in Shibuya is amazing. The Tokyu Excel Hotel is one of the closest hotels and is very expensive. Right across from the hotel is a soccer field on a roof and the train station.Shibuyas famous cross walk is right near the hotel and is constantly busy. The best randevu spot is Hachiko (Statue of a heroic dog) Written By Mike Sterling AKA::Shinji Takeda Aug 30, 2011 Shibuya is shopping. Shibuya is eating. Shibuya is drinking. Shibuya is what you think of when you imagine Tokyo. It's within a short walking distance from Harajuku, and if for some strange reason you get bored with it, it's a major public transport hub that is connected to just about every other part of Tokyo. It is my favorite spot in the city and should NOT be missed. Dec 8, 2008 Lots and lots of people, day and night.... ... shopping, shopping, shopping.... If shopping brands is your thing, this is paradise!!! If not... well, brand shopping brings in with it lots of entertainment options and lots of crowds too froim all walks of life (mostly the "trendy one" though) Oct 31, 2009 Crowd. Shopping. Modern. Ultramodern. High. You can buy here everything: socks with bow, Winnie the Pooh earphones...from the clothes to the high-tech electric stuff. It's extremely shiny. If you like the silence, and the peaceful places don't go here! :o))) Aug 9, 2008 Go to Shibuya crossing and just watch the billboards and people crossing the streets like ants. Go into the Starbucks and take the stairs to the 2nd floor to have another view on it. Interesting fact: a scene was taken here for the movie "Lost in Translation"
