About Summer Sonic Festival
The Summer Sonic Festival is an annual two or three-days rock festival held at the same time in Osaka and near Tokyo. The majority of the bands playing in Osaka the first day go to Tokyo the following day and vice versa.
The line-up contains many Japanese rock musicians from both major and indie record companies, and also international acts.

It's a big mostly rock festival. I've been in Osaka, and most of the bands were Japanese or unknown international for me. There were 6 stages, some food stand ( I couldn't buy coffee! :o) ,place for the tents. Nothing more. I prefer the festival with richer programs.
