Oct 23, 2008 A huge park, composed of actually two parts. The part I like, and know, is the one that includes the Meiji jingu, and the museum dedicated to emperor Meiji and his wife. It's a peaceful place, with whole sections made to seem like a natural forest. A good spot to have an o-bento lunch, or just relax. One important event I know of that happens there is the Kyudo-ceremony, beginning of January. The members of the local dojo hold an open-air shooting ceremony, in full traditional regalia. Also worth the visit is the Empress's garden, especially in April/May, when the big Iris field in the middle of it is in bloom. Jun 11, 2008 You know those cosplayers? Yoyogi-park is the place to see them. There's always something going on and the food is the best!! Yoyogi-park area is huge and there's also a shrine amd museum.
