Getting there:
Go by bus to Onsen Hoyo Land area or Myoban area and then walk up the hill. You need to pass a cemenetary and then, again, walk up the hill for another 25-30 minutes.

A really great hot spring ('onsen') hidden up in the mountains of Beppu. It's quite a pain to get there or even just find it but once you do, it's definetely rewarding. One of few 'wild' hot springs left in Japan
