it has both america places like AW, Baskin Robins, and an italian resteraunt that i forget the name of. but it also has a movie theater, and alot of japanese resteraunts with an irish pub in the back. a little concert area, a few fountains, a large resort type hotel. and it is all right on Sunset Beach in Okinawa.

Chatan is only about 10 minutes from the Kadena Air Base when traffic is good, many young people walk there with friends. At American Village there is a huge Ferris Wheel, at the top you can see all of the city. American Village is filled with cute Oki stores and restaurants. It's always live!
