Being the second largest aquarium in the world, the Churaumi has a huge variety of different sea creatures, mostly from the close-by waters. It also hosts the world's biggest aquatic tank.

There's only bus or taxi going there. Easiest would be on a tour, but you may want to spend more time there, or be more independent.

Chura meaning Beautiful or Graceful, and umi, meaning sea. Beautiful Sea. This truly is a stunning aquarium in a beautiful location.

Just amazing!! You can virtually spend all day long there without getting bored. Absolutely worth a trip!
