Drive up to the "Five Colour Lakes" or Goshikinuma...they are unbelievable..the minerals in the lakes creat the most amazing shades or colour. Go in the autumn when the turning leaves add to the palette

A great nature place - mountains, forest, lakes and a quite nice hiking trail. Especially the different colors of the lakes make a good impression.
