Jun 24, 2008 Gede is an old village in the rain forest on the Kenyan coast. It is well hidden within the trees. Formerly, it must have been a famous tradeplace/port for there were found some shells which must have been a currency between Asian ports and Gede. There's also a mosque. Gede has been "lost" and rediscovered only in the early 20th century. Related Links
