Feb 21, 2009 You simply cannot go to Kuwait without seeing the Towers, besides they are hard to miss right on the waterfront at 600' tall. These towers are the national symbol of Kuwait (much like Statue of Liberty in U.S. or Eifel Tower in France) as such they are an internationally recognized landmark and the Kuwaiti people are very proud of them. During the Iraq invation of Kuwait, the towers were all but destroyed and looted by the Iraqi Army. After the war the Kuwaiti people took great care in restoring them to what you see today. The central tower has a revolving resturaunt which serves traditional Arab cuisine and rotates once every 30 min. offering a wonderful panoramic of the city and bay. The upper level has a observation deck. The service is absolutely world class and the Kuwaiti people are very receptive to visitors. Aug 2, 2011 Quuite boring, but alltogether an alright experience. Windows need cleaning! Its not tremendosly High especially if you've been somewhere like New York, the clenliness is alright but windows and some areas of the towers do need a good clean. Upstairs there is a shop, cafe and with your ticket you get a complementry water and sandwich. Altogether a good experience when being in kuwait! Aug 9, 2008 Totally worth going to as far as interesting places are concerned. Below the towers is a small waterpark. There is also a gorgeous white sands beach. The last time I saw water that blue, I was in the Bahamas! Mar 4, 2010 beautyfull paradise touristic and really interesting, people open hearted and kind. Related Links
