The Gibbon Experience is a project run within the Bokeo Nature Reserve in an attempt to reduce poaching, logging, and slash and burn farming that is practiced in the region by showing the benefits of conservation instead.

Visitors have an opportunity to visit the region for a unique experience of living in the forest canopy, to trek through dirt paths, and catch sight of some of the rarer and more elusive Gibbons, including the Black Crested Gibbon. Guided tours take you past scenic waterfalls, bubbling rivers, and through forest ziplines.

Payment Accepted:

Reaching the canopy infrastructure where you will be staying can take up to 5 hours to walk.
